Next, secure the two clamps on one side of the truck bed. Make sure to put felt or rags under the clamps to avoid scratching. Place the blanket against the bike or the side of the truck, again to avoid scratching on either vehicle.
Loop the straps through the clamps, and loop one strap through the front tire, and the other through the bicycle frame, and then loop it back around through the clamp again. Then tie a knot with ropes or ratchet the tie-down. Your set.
